We want every Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. experience to be comfortable, straightforward, and free from surprises. These policies help protect our clients, their belongings, their homes, and our team while making sure everyone knows what to expect.
We understand that every home and situation is different, especially when we're helping with clutter, cleanouts, or overwhelming spaces. If something unusual comes up, we'll communicate with you and work through it together whenever possible.
Our goal isn't to make things complicated. It's to make expectations clear before the cleaning begins.
We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust our schedule.
We ask that clients provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible when canceling or rescheduling a scheduled service.
Repeated last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may require a deposit before future services can be scheduled.
If Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. ever needs to reschedule your service due to illness, weather, an emergency, or another unexpected circumstance, we'll contact you as soon as possible and work with you to arrange another time.
Clients are responsible for making sure Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. can safely access the property at the scheduled service time.
You do not have to be home while we work. Entry arrangements can be discussed ahead of time and may include a key, door code, lockbox, or another agreed-upon method.
Any keys, access codes, or other entry information provided to Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. will be treated as private and used only for the purpose of providing scheduled services.
If we are unable to enter the property at the scheduled time and cannot reach you, the appointment may need to be rescheduled.
Please let us know in advance about alarms, unusual entry instructions, restricted areas, or anything else we should know before entering your home.
We love our four-legged clients too! 🐾 Please let us know ahead of time if there will be pets in the home during your service.
Friendly pets are welcome to remain in the home as long as they are comfortable with unfamiliar people, cleaning equipment, and noise and do not interfere with our ability to work safely.
If a pet is nervous, protective, aggressive, likely to escape through an open door, or simply doesn't appreciate strangers invading its kingdom with a vacuum cleaner, we ask that the pet be safely secured in another area during service.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. cannot be responsible for pets that escape or are injured as a result of being left unsecured during service.
Please tell us about any special pet considerations before we arrive so we can keep everyone safe, comfortable, and accounted for.
Your belongings are still your belongings, and we take that seriously.
During decluttering, organizing, extreme-clutter, or cleanout services, Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. will work according to the disposal and decision-making plan agreed upon with the client before work begins.
Items that require a decision will generally be sorted into appropriate categories such as keep, donate, relocate, recycle, or discard rather than automatically being thrown away.
For larger projects, clients may choose to pre-authorize certain categories of obvious trash or disposable items so work can continue efficiently without requiring approval for every individual item.
We will not intentionally discard items that appear valuable, sentimental, financially important, personally identifying, or otherwise questionable without client approval.
When we're unsure, we ask.
Our goal is progress, not permission to bulldoze through your belongings.
We do our best to treat your home and belongings with care. However, we strongly recommend that cash, jewelry, medications, important documents, firearms, collectibles, irreplaceable items, and other valuables be secured before service whenever possible.
During decluttering and cleanout projects, important-looking documents, photographs, identification, financial records, keys, jewelry, cash, and similar items discovered while sorting will not knowingly be discarded and will instead be set aside for the client whenever reasonably possible.
Please let us know before service about any particularly fragile, valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable items that may require special care.
When something looks important, we'd much rather stop and ask than make a decision you can't undo.
For certain services, Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. may take photographs of the areas being evaluated or serviced. Photos can be especially helpful during estimates, deep cleaning, decluttering, extreme-clutter projects, and cleanouts.
These photos may be used internally to document the condition of the property before work begins, prepare an accurate estimate, plan the scope of work, track progress, document items or areas requiring client decisions, and maintain before-and-after records of completed work.
Because larger projects can change dramatically while work is underway, progress photos may also be taken during service. These help document the work performed and provide a record of how the space changed throughout the project.
Taking photos for project documentation does NOT automatically give Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. permission to publish them.
Photos will not be posted on our website, social media, advertisements, printed materials, or other public platforms without the client's separate permission.
When permission to share photos is granted, we will make reasonable efforts to protect the client's privacy by avoiding or removing identifying information such as names, addresses, family photographs, paperwork, license plates, or other personally identifying details whenever possible.
Clients may allow documentation photos while choosing not to allow public use of those photos.
Your home may be part of our work. Your privacy is not part of our marketing.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. isn't afraid of a big mess, but safety always comes first.
Please tell us before your estimate or service if the property may contain conditions such as needles or sharps, human or animal waste, significant mold, pest or insect infestations, hazardous chemicals, drug-related materials, excessive smoke or fire damage, structural hazards, weapons, or other potentially dangerous conditions.
Finding one of these conditions does not automatically mean we won't help. Depending on the situation, we may need to adjust the scope of work, use additional protective equipment, postpone part of the project, or recommend that a properly qualified professional handle a particular hazard before we continue.
If an unsafe or undisclosed hazardous condition is discovered after work begins, Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. reserves the right to stop or pause work until the situation can be safely evaluated and addressed.
Please also provide safe access to the areas being serviced and let us know about damaged flooring, unstable stairs, exposed wiring, broken glass, structural concerns, or other hazards that may not be immediately obvious.
We're willing to tackle the overwhelming. We just won't gamble with anyone's safety to do it.
For everyone's safety, children, guests, and anyone who is not actively participating in the project should remain clear of areas where Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. is working whenever possible.
This is especially important during decluttering, extreme-clutter projects, and cleanouts, when belongings may be temporarily removed from shelves, cabinets, closets, or entire areas so they can be sorted and organized.
During this process, a space may temporarily look more cluttered or chaotic before it looks better. That's normal. Items may be grouped into categories, staged for decisions, relocated, bagged, boxed, or temporarily placed in another area while we work through the space.
Entering an active work area can interrupt the sorting process, create safety concerns, or make it difficult to keep track of what has already been reviewed.
Clients are always welcome to ask questions or participate when decisions are needed. We simply ask that everyone allow us enough working space to safely complete the process.
Sometimes progress looks like a bigger mess halfway through. Don't panic. We know where we're going with it.
For Routine Cleaning, a minimum booking payment equal to the 3-hour minimum ($90) is due at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
This payment is applied toward your cleaning service. It is not an additional fee. Requiring the minimum payment in advance helps us reserve your appointment specifically for you and reduces last-minute cancellations that leave a time slot unavailable to another client.
If the required booking payment has not been received at least 48 hours before the scheduled service and no other arrangements have been made, the appointment may be released so that the time can be offered to another client.
Any remaining balance for routine cleaning is due upon completion of service.
For larger projects, multi-day cleanouts, or specialized services, Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. may require a deposit, partial payment, or another payment arrangement before work begins or as portions of the project are completed. Any such requirements will be discussed before the project is scheduled.
Additional work requested after an estimate has been approved may result in additional charges. We will communicate with you before performing work that would significantly change the original scope or estimated cost whenever reasonably possible.
No mystery charges. No surprise math. We want you to understand what you're paying for before the work begins.
We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we have an opportunity to offer that time to another client.
For Routine Cleaning appointments, the $90 minimum booking payment reserves your scheduled time and is applied toward your cleaning service.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may have the booking payment refunded or transferred to a new appointment.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, missed appointments, or situations where we are unable to access the property at the scheduled time may result in the booking payment being non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon.
We understand that genuine emergencies happen and will always try to handle unusual circumstances reasonably.
If Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment, your booking payment will never be forfeited. You may choose to transfer it to your rescheduled appointment or receive a refund.
We aren't trying to profit from canceled appointments. The advance payment simply protects time that has been reserved specifically for you.
Estimates are FREE and judgment-free and are based on the information and conditions we are able to evaluate at the time the estimate is prepared.
For larger, specialized, or extreme-clutter projects, estimates may consider factors such as the size and condition of the space, amount of clutter, type of cleaning required, accessibility, disposal needs, and estimated labor involved.
We do our best to provide an accurate estimate before work begins. However, some conditions may not become apparent until a project is underway, particularly when working in heavily cluttered spaces, packed closets, cabinets, storage areas, or rooms where portions of the space cannot initially be accessed.
If we discover that the project is significantly different from what could reasonably be evaluated during the estimate, we will communicate with you before substantially expanding the work or cost whenever possible.
Likewise, if you decide you'd like additional areas or services completed while we're there, we're happy to discuss them. Additional work may require additional time and may change the original price or estimate.
An estimate is a plan based on what we can see and reasonably anticipate. If the plan needs to change, you'll be part of that conversation.
We take pride in our work and will always make a reasonable effort to achieve the best results possible for your home.
However, cleaning can remove dirt, buildup, residue, and many stains, but it cannot always reverse permanent damage, discoloration, wear, deterioration, scratches, corrosion, hard-water damage, mold staining, or other conditions that have affected the underlying surface.
Some areas may also require multiple cleanings or specialized treatment to achieve significant improvement, particularly when buildup has accumulated over a long period of time.
If we encounter something that cannot reasonably or safely be cleaned using our normal methods, we'll let you know rather than risk damaging the surface by continuing.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. cannot guarantee that every stain, odor, mark, or condition can be completely removed.
We'll give it our best. We just can't promise to make permanent damage disappear with a spray bottle and positive thinking.
We treat your home and belongings with care, but accidents can occasionally happen. If something is accidentally damaged during service, please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do the same if we notice or cause damage while working.
Clients are encouraged to tell us before service about loose fixtures, damaged furniture, fragile décor, unstable shelving, delicate surfaces, improperly mounted items, or belongings requiring special care.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. cannot be responsible for damage caused by pre-existing deterioration, improper installation, normal wear and tear, unstable or previously damaged items, or conditions that were not reasonably visible before work began.
During extreme-clutter and cleanout projects, some items or surfaces may already be damaged, deteriorated, stained, broken, or inaccessible before work begins. Whenever practical, these conditions may be documented as part of our project photographs.
If we're concerned that cleaning or moving something could cause damage, we may stop and discuss it with you before proceeding.
Taking our time with something questionable beats turning a questionable situation into a broken one.
Decluttering and cleanout projects work best when Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. and the client have a clear understanding of what may be kept, donated, relocated, recycled, or discarded.
Before work begins, we'll discuss how you would like decisions handled and whether certain categories of items may be pre-authorized for disposal.
You do not necessarily need to stand beside us throughout the entire project. However, we may need you to be available for questions or decisions, especially when we encounter belongings that do not clearly fall within the guidelines you've provided.
Items requiring a decision may be placed in a designated review area so work can continue without repeatedly stopping the entire project.
If a significant number of decisions cannot be made or we are unable to reach you when necessary, progress may be slowed or portions of the project may need to wait until those decisions can be made.
We understand that letting go of belongings can sometimes be difficult. Our job is to help you make progress, not pressure you into getting rid of things you aren't ready to part with.
At the same time, meaningful decluttering requires decisions. We'll provide the hands, the organization, and the momentum, but you remain in control of what happens to your belongings.
During decluttering and cleanout projects, Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. may help sort and prepare items for trash, recycling, donation, or other disposal according to the plan agreed upon with the client.
Unless specifically included in your estimate, our service does not automatically include hauling large quantities of trash, furniture, appliances, hazardous materials, or other bulky items away from the property.
When removal or hauling is needed, we'll discuss the available options with you. Depending on the project, this may include using the client's existing trash service, arranging for a dumpster or other disposal service, coordinating donation drop-off or pickup, or including removal as part of the project when agreed upon in advance.
Any dumpster fees, disposal fees, landfill charges, special handling fees, or third-party hauling costs are separate from cleaning labor unless your estimate specifically states that they are included.
Items designated for donation may be separated and prepared for donation, but Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. cannot guarantee that a particular organization will accept every item.
We will never intentionally remove items from the property for disposal or donation unless they fall within the client-approved disposal plan or have otherwise been authorized.
We'll help you get it out of the room. We'll also make sure we have a plan for where it's actually going.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. generally provides the standard cleaning products, tools, and equipment needed to complete your scheduled service. You don't need to stock your home with cleaning supplies or worry about whether you own the right vacuum.
If your home contains a surface, material, appliance, or item that requires a specific product or special cleaning method, please let us know before service whenever possible.
If you prefer that we use a particular product you already have in your home, we're happy to discuss it. However, we reserve the right not to use a client-provided product if we believe it could be unsafe, inappropriate for the surface, improperly labeled, or likely to cause damage.
Specialized products, equipment, protective gear, or supplies required for unusual conditions or larger projects may result in an additional cost. If so, we'll discuss that with you as part of the estimate or before making a significant change to the agreed-upon service.
You provide the home. We'll bring the cleaning arsenal. 🧹🧤
We want you to feel comfortable with both the service you receive and the way you're treated in your home.
If you have a question, concern, or believe an area included in your scheduled service was overlooked, please contact Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. as soon as reasonably possible after your service so we have an opportunity to understand what happened and determine how best to address it.
Because homes are lived in and conditions can change quickly after we leave, concerns reported promptly are much easier for us to evaluate.
If something was genuinely missed within the agreed-upon scope of work, we'll make a reasonable effort to address the concern and make things right.
Please remember that satisfaction concerns are different from conditions that simply cannot be completely corrected through cleaning, such as permanent staining, damage, deterioration, or other limitations described elsewhere in our policies.
If something doesn't seem right, talk to us. We'd much rather have the opportunity to address a concern than leave you quietly disappointed.
By scheduling services with Bandana Girl Cleaning Co., clients acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review the policies applicable to their service.
Certain projects, particularly decluttering, extreme-clutter cleanouts, multi-day projects, or other specialized services, may require additional written approvals, authorizations, or project-specific terms before work begins.
Because every home and project is different, we may occasionally need to establish additional expectations that are specific to your situation. Any important changes affecting the scope, pricing, disposal authorization, or other significant aspects of your project will be discussed with you.
Bandana Girl Cleaning Co. may update these general policies as the business and services evolve. The policies applicable to a scheduled service will be those communicated or made available to the client at that time.
Clear expectations make for happier clients, smoother projects, and fewer surprises for everyone.
